BTC Options Trading - Platform Comparison

If you want to trade Bitcoin on a more professional level you can either use Bitcoin Futures or Bitcoin Options. So far only a handful of platforms support BTC Options trading and most of them still have very low liquidity. You also have to keep in mind that platforms like Bakkt and CME only allow Options trading for institutional clients.

Thus if you are not an institutional client you only have a few places left where you can trade Bitcoin Options. If you are not an institutional client you should probably use Deribit for Options trading. Because you have a lot of liquidity there, you don’t need to do a KYC process and you can start trading immediately. Also a good option is FTX. However the platform has a lot of liquidity in terms of Futures and Spot trading but in terms of Options trading there are currently only a limited number of contracts available.
